The National Training Advisory Committee is a cross-industry committee that is formed by the chairs of the Sector-Specific Advisory Committees. This committee has a primary role in ensuring that the work of the Advisory Committees is communicated across the various industry sector groups. Other key roles of the committee include:

  • Informing other ASA advisory groups of cross-sector skill and qualification issues
  • Providing advice for the development of the annual Environmental Scan and for informing the development of ASA skill and workforce development projects
  • Ensuring that Training Package development work is shared across each of the industry sectors, and ensuring that industry priorities are met within the resources available at ASA.
