Auto Skills Australia support for the Automotive Industry

Automotive Manufacture (AUM) and Automotive Retail, Service and Repair (AUR) Training Packages
Between 2011 and 2016 Auto Skills Australia worked with Industry to develop and maintain the Automotive Industry Training Packages. The AUR and AUM Training Packages specify the skills and knowledge required for workers to perform effectively in the Automotive Manufacture, Retail, Service and Repair industry sectors.

New Skills Service Organisation (SSO) for the AUR and AUM Training Packages
On 10 November 2016, the Hon Karen Andrews MP, Assistant Minister for Vocational Education and Skills, announced PwC’s Skills for Australia as the new SSO for the Automotive Industry. A copy of the Minister’s media release can be found here.

From 1 January 2017 all enquiries related to the Automotive Industry Training Packages should be directed to PwC’s Skills for Australia.
